Poffertjes (pah-fur-jes) are a traditional Dutch delicacy often found at street markets in the Netherlands.

The silver-dollar-size pancakes are served hot and topped with melted rum-flavored butter and powdered sugar.

We welcome you to enjoy the old-world charm of the store and the process of making a tray of poffertjes especially for you.

Located in a quaint, 1880s Western storefront, the top-secret batter recipe is cooked on cast-iron grills from the Netherlands.

Volunteers make the delicacy daily during the Tulip Festival and select Wednesdays in late spring through the early fall.
